Hack And Defend Session

Our first session was a success. Rob Labbe was spectacular in his presentation and Dan Douglas, Kevin Watt, and Chris Brousseau did an amazing job.

We had a great time discussing the 2010 top 10 web threats and the definite rise of threats via gaming consoles caught many by surprise.

We also heard the guys from list2lend.com discuss how asp.net MVC helped them migitate these same threats.

Dan Douglas discussed .NET Reflection and the tools he uses on a daily basis as a developer and architect.

Here is the link to the presentation on reflection

Some of the prizes, Rob and me, Rob and the FCDNUG group.

It is imperative to build applications that can adapt to changes in core business logic and encourage re-use. IT can’t do this alone. Dynamic business applications require a more collaborative approach between IT and business decision makers, increasing the ownership of logic assets by process owners and key decision makers. It's easier than you think. Your peers at companies around the world are using business rule technology to enable collaboration between IT and business decision makers – cutting application maintenance backlogs and improving business responsiveness.
